Graham Brown

Independent Social Worker | ParentAssess Trainer

Graham is an experienced Independent Social Worker specialising in complex parenting assessments across public and private law proceedings. His work includes cases involving parental conflict, emotional harm, safeguarding concerns and children and parents with additional needs.

As a ParentAssess trainer, Graham has a particular interest in making assessment genuinely accessible, adapting his approach to the individual rather than expecting people to fit a standard process. His work combines clear evidence-based analysis with a practical, strengths-based and human approach.

Samina Riaz

Independent Social Worker | ParentAssess Practitioner

Samina is an experienced Independent Social Worker with over 15 years’ practice across children’s social care, Cafcass and the Family Court. She has extensive experience of public and private law proceedings and undertakes parenting, connected persons, risk, Re W and other specialist assessments.

Samina has particular experience of working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and brings a culturally informed approach to her work. She is fluent in Punjabi and places importance on ensuring families are able to understand and participate meaningfully in the assessment process.
